Area Modern Home and Lighting, established in 2000, has become a leading source for modern and lifestyle furniture. The 5000 sq ft showroom is located in downtown Greensboro NC, and exhibits affordable, modern home furnishings and accessories.

    Focused on creating timeless classics, Area works closely with local manufacturers to ensure quality and appeal. Furniture is produced locally and can be shipped within two weeks of order in a variety of fabrics.

    Area carries furniture from manufacturers such as Calligaris and Pablo Lighting, as well as their own in-house designs.

    Designer and Area store owner Mark Hewett was educated and trained as a product designer in the UK. He has worked with major corporations in Asia, Europe, New York. Currently residing in Greensboro, NC, Mark is now able to produce quality furniture at lower prices.
